Assalamualaikum,

Insya Allah I will try to update this blog of mine as often as possible. A random topic for today, baking. Somehow, I am so motivated to learn how to bake. Believe or not, everytime whenever I enter into a book store, of course first thing first is to accompany the bf and I will then proceed to the recipes session and browse through every recipe books that caught my attention. :)) I love to browse through those recipe books especially those which are very colourful and easy to understand. They seemed to motivate me even more. Looking for recipes through online is the other alternative way. Okay, while I was typing this, I somehow felt that I am like my mum (perasan betul aku ni!but my mum is one of the best baker that I adores btw! :)) but the only difference is that, I have yet to start on the practical.hahaha, Words speak louder than Actions!hahaha :p Okay, maybe I did baked before, but that was like once in a lifetime! Hahaha I have tried baking blueberry cheesecake (with the help of mum of course) and my all time favourite Kek Batik Marie. For a new bird like me, maybe by baking those two cakes will be a great idea to begin with (: Basically Kek Batik Marie doesn’t even need to bake in the oven. It’s like more to cooking on the stove! Hahaha :p and then store in the fridge to harden and cool it down :D

(Trust me the appearance doesn't matter, What matter the most is the taste :D )

Ingredients

180 gm butter

3 eggs

1 cup of milo

1 cup of warm water

1/2 cup of condensed milk

300 gm Marie Biscuits, broken into rough quarters

1) Mix the milo to the warm water.

2) Heat up the stove. In a deep saucepan, melt the butter.

2) Once the butter melts, slowly add the condensed milk and eggs to the mixture.
3) Place the saucepan over moderate heat and cook, stirring all the time with a whisk or a spoon, until you feel the bottom starts to thicken, about 5 minutes.
4) Turn heat down to low, and continue to cook, stirring without stopping, for about another 20-25 minutes until a thick custard forms. (refer to recipe notes)
5) Turn off the heat, and stir in the quartered biscuits. Mix until all the biscuits are coated with the custard.
6) Transfer mixture to the prepared tin.
7) Cover with aluminium foil and refrigerate overnight.

Insya Allah, if I come upon a simple recipe, will surely post it when have the time! :))

Alhamdulillah, the probation period is over..

27 December = 3 months

and 28 December = MY 21st

But what a pity, My 21st will fall on a weekday which is Tuesday,

and sadly I will be working...

However, I am so tempted to take a day off on that day, :p

Oh well, shall decide again...

Okay, back to my working life story.. :D

So far, work has been good for me.

Okay I lied, maybe not for the start, it was quite difficult for me..

It was kind of struggling for me as;

nur arina = slow learner :D

but alhamdulillah as times passby, I managed to cope :))

Way Overdue and Recent Pictures!

I went for a short trip to Kuala Lumpur and Melaka with the parents and younger sis last june holidays! Seriously I ate too much this time ! :x Melia Hotel is absolutely a MUST hotel to stay in when you are in KL! Not only it's directly opposite Berjaya Times Square, It's also located in the town area! and the restaurant next to the hotel, is a MUST to dine in! especially for it's MEE GORENG! POWER TO THE MAX!

A very good morning! ((:
By the way, July made me remind of Racial Harmony Day!
Oh my, how i greatly miss my secondary school's life...
Well basically, that's the only day we, the JSS students got to dress up (i guess...haha!)
and as a normal girl, I just love to dress up!
who doesn't right? heee :p
Let me just flashback those sweet memories of mine.... ;))
Secondary 1 - I wore my blue baju kebaya
Secondary 2 - I guess i'm sick of wearing my own traditional clothes hence resulted in me not being supportive enough to dress up! hahaha (boringggggg)
Secondary 3 - My first time of being too enthusiastic to dress up as a good friend of mine, Nesh lent me her traditional costume plus a set of her bangles too!!! :D

Secondary 4 - I thought of wearing something like cheongsam but none of my chinese friends had it, so I still stick to wearing Indian costume provided by Nesh again! heee

Secondary 5 - I still can't forget how desperate Munirah and I were!Yeah, we badly wanted to wear the chinese traditional costumes!and since we were like kind off budget, we literally went around the whole chinatown just to find the cheap ones! HAHAHA!Of course with much patience and determination (haha!), we managed to find a nice chinese top respectively at a really affordable price! :)

Have you wonder why am I up that early.....??
Stupid me for sleeping and waking up at the wrong timing! :x

Yeay!!Alhamdulillah the bf is safely back! (Even though I envy and mad at him for going his short holidays without me! HAHAHA!) Will be meeting him tomorrow, I can't wait! :p My Good Friday holiday started off with me meeting Farah early in the morning at 9 am (ok not that early but still morning) before proceeding to Jalan Damai for the walk-in sales! HAHAHA Farah and I were like kind of shock after knowing that we were the first customer to arrive, hahaha paisey or what! :p We both were so contented as we managed to buy what we want :)) (no pictures since we forgot to snap)...A few minutes after I got home, Cik T and Cik Lai came and our house eventually got so kecohrable! and yes, I finally got to eat meat galore pizza! Yummy! Thankz ibu and ayah for ordering pizza hut home delivery! ;)) My Saturday was spent at Town to shop for the wedding hantarans with the SISTERS plus the Brother and Zaki. We end our day with nasi ayam penyet at the famous ayam penyet ria! Happy happy me! :)) Gonna hit the sack soon, Goodnight!

I still can't sleep!!..Blame it for falling asleep right after my solat maghrib till 11 plus pm :)) I was kind of hungry thus that was the reason of waking up. I was abit disappointed though, because there was only fish curry left on the kitchen stove. Fish? Why? "Biarlah Rahsia" LOL :p Initially thought of just munching on chipsmore but my kind little sister voluntereed herself up to cook maggi for me! Thank you so much!! HAHAHA! 5th April, I'm going to start working (Thanks to fizul for that!) but of course, not a full-time yet! I'm so excited but yet scared! U know me, I'm a timid girl :x Praying hard that I will do my best and hoping that nothing goes wrong (but even it does, it can't be blame for a newbie) Amin. I just hope what I did was the best choice. Sorry to disappoint those who put high hopes on me. It's okay Rina, no regret and think positive! :)) and oh I forgot to mention that I have officially end my Polytechnic's life! Alhamdulillah. :)) Now I just feel that I have no regret for not doing my O Level that well because only HIM knows the best for me, Terima Kasih Ya Allah. I can't stop thanking HIM... and also a very big thank you to the NYP Lecturers who had taught me during these three years. A very big Thank You especially to Ms Tan Ai Lian. Yes, she has always be there for me whenever I need her helps/advices..Thank you Ms Tan. Thank you to my family for believing in me. Thank you Haikal, Hanis, Farah and Munirah for those constant encouragements. Thank you to Liyana, Ilyasa and Darren for being my team members for the last semester in school. Working with you guys were awesome! and lastly, Thank you to those who were there being my friends during my three years in Nanyang Polytechnic. I have met nice friends in NYP such as the GG,SEXY, Liyana,Mila,Mas,MCG peeps and many more..and I thanked HIM for that :)) ...and Oh I just realised I have typed too much. Sorry... :p

First stop: Wellcome Supermarket to shop for our "groceries"

A big bottle of mineral water ( Errmm, actually i forgot how many litre it was. Vietnam tap water is not safe for drinking), Milo packet drinks, Milo 3 in 1 instant, Tiger Biscuits, Ayam Brand Canned Food n etc....hahaha!

Followed by Lunch (Lucky for us, all of our meals are HALAL!) :))

Second stop: Photograph session outside the church of Madonna

Third stop: Ho Chi Minh Post Office

Fourth stop: History Museum

Fifth stop: War Remnants Musuem

Sixth stop:Check-in to our rooms at Hoang Hai Leong Hotel

Seventh stop: Dinner at Saigon Cruise

and lastly back to hotel!

Day 2

Breakfast at the Hotel

First stop: VisingPack Factory, a factory that produces different type of packages

Second stop: Our Lunch!, Full spread of Delicious Food at Lion City Restaurant!

Third stop: Exchange program at the HongBang University International

I cant believed that I was being questioned by their students regarding Singapore Educational System!

HAHAHAH!

Fourth stop: The Day Market!!

Fifth stop: Had Dinner (theres even satay!)

Sixth stop: Shopping at The Night Market!!!!!!!!!

Im so shagged

i did zero work during the weekends (initially, thought of doing presentation slides and report)

im so over fypj, 9 more days (minus saturday and sunday AND PUBLIC HOLIDAY!) please make me endure it

i saw different kind of characters during the weekends

failed my napfa test but atleast im proud to achieve that small part of it

Aching thighs due to napfa test and the running and standing during the weekends

i totally backout from the cycling outing last minute, i know im such a bad friend...

Im really sorry...

will update more in the next entry i guess.......

i ~~miss~~ the sentosa's outings with the girls but i am lucky to have a delicious dinner over at the mad jack with them
a really great catch-up with hanis and hajjar which came along with those delicious secret recipe's cakes
had a simple but yet sweet fathers' day celebration at home
enjoyed a nice and romantic dinner over at tiffany with him *winks*

INK is lucky enough to have a skillful and kindhearted instructor ;) ....sure enough,im really thankful to have those seniors helping me along the way...... :))

Indeed, i really enjoyed my 19th!! and to HIM, syukur alhamdulillah i managed to be 19 and also to celebrate it with MY LOVED ones!!!!! :)) 27/12/08 was a sentosa-ing day for the both of us!!! We both took the promotion package and managed to try those 5 attractions!!! From Fort Siloso - The Butterfly Park - SkyTower - 4D Magix and lastly to Skyride & Luge ... It was really an enjoyable and a well-spent day with HIM...thankz b!!*winks winks* ;p 28/12/08, at 0000...i was greeted by a birthday song sang by my sisters :)) ....and when i woke up....my mum told me not to go out as my 1st sis wanted to bring us out....and soo...ssoo....i wait....i wait....and i waited....till i fall asleep from noon till evening!!!hahaha...want to know why??because i was bored as no one entertained me (including mohamad haikal too)!!-_-!!! hahaha ;p and when i woke up...my dad asked me to bath...and after bathing my mum asked me to wear the purple dress that my 1st and last sis have ironed it for me!!LOLS wakaka....and so i thought...i was going to have our dinner like we always did...but nnnooooo!!!i was blindfolded after getting out of the lift and was made like a idiot!! haha having to walk all way to the corporation park by just relying on my sisters hands....and i was REALLY surprised that they were having a surprise party cum bbq for me!!! hahaha and it was really a surprise to have b, ain, wani and farah to be there toooo!!!! hahaha To: (my family....) Celebrated Hari Raya Aidiladha at Cik Jenah's(dad's cousin) house (since nenek was off to kampung).. and at Cik T's house!!! Food was delicious!!However,trust me i decided not to eat that much :)) There was a celebration for December Babies at Cik Ts house with ibu first-time try out Chocolate Brownie!! (However,cik borhan arrived abit later ....and cik dollah pon satu mata nya tertutup ketika bergambar!!LOLS!!hahaha)

my first-ever time going to an army open housee!!
bbboohhhooo!! and those guns there were damn heavy too!!my first-time trying those shots!!LOLS heeee and the effect on the army training video really made me felt so terrified!!LOLS mind you ...i am a timid girl :)and i really salute those guys who were selected for army!!undergoing a very tough and tiring training compared to those in CD n Police..LOLS..(mcm paham je aku nie....hahaha) after that, we proceed to jurong point!! (wahh!!jurong point dah maju!! the size is as big as 10 football fields!! BESARRR TTUU!!!) and we dine in at Fig n Olive!! yum!!yum!! YUMMMYYY!!! hahaha :))
